Resembled organization originated in February of 2005, when a group of selfless inindividuals united together for a truly significant cause. Driven by Timothy 3: 16-17 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work". Volunteers from First Slavic Baptist Church set out on a local mission to inspire teens by God's Word. Resembled staff consists of hardworking young adults seeking to make a spiritual difference in the future generation of their church. Resembled is empowered by a goal to teach teens to resemble Christ in their everyday lives. Working with ages 12-18, Resembled Organization strives to reach out to young people in various ways. One of the primary methods is Wednesday Youth Groups. Resembled staff includes fourteen devoted group leaders who weekly dedicate their time and effort in an attempt to inspire teens by God's Word on Wednesday evenings. Managed by two leaders per group of 10-20 teens, approximately of the same age, Wednesday nights are dedicated to intense Bible study. Prior to Wednesday evenings, each group leader thoroughly studies and researches the Bible for effective presentation of God's Word. In addition to regularly meeting with their groups, leaders often organize trips like hiking and cabin getaways. Leaders find such trips as useful opportunities to connect with their group members on a much more personal level. Monthly, Resembled Organization arranges one-day recreational events. Such events include park barbeques with sport tournaments, and a variety of many other games and activities. Occasionally Resembled staff also organizes biking or river rafting events. The day usually ends with a short sermon and worship. Resembled views these events as a chance for teenagers to associate with friends, group leaders and invite secular teens to the occasion. Resembled team annually holds summer and winter camps for teenagers. Resembled staff actively constructs an entertaining and spiritually valuable program for each day of the camp. Winter camps generally last 3 to 4 days, while summer camps proceed longer for up to 7 days. In order for Resembled Organization to meet it 's intended goal, staff members meet weekly on Tuesday evenings for efficient planning, Bible studying, and group praying.
